Carrissa Moore’s Graduation Party @ Fresh Cafe featured on ESPN
Seeing as Carissa has an aversion to getting her driver’s license, she got a jet ski for graduation instead.

WCT rookie Carissa Moore, 17, celebrated the end of high school with the sickest graduation party at Fresh Café last Friday night. It was easily the biggest high school party that anyone’s ever seen. The class of 2010 and the South Shore of Oahu’s most-talented surfers, like Ezekiel Lau, Kelia and Isiah Moniz, and Kaulana Apo, danced their faces off to celebrate the milestone in Moore’s life. Everybody knows that Red Bull throws a mental 21-and-over party, but Moore’s grad party proved that the energy drink company hosts non-alcoholic and still extremely fun events.
“I can’t believe I’m actually graduating, it’s one of those things that you think about, but then when it actually arrives it kind of blows you away,” said Moore. “I invited pretty much everybody I knew to the party, and now it’s all about kicking back and having fun before everybody goes off to do their own thing.”
Moore is graduating from Punahou School this Sunday. She will graduate from the same high school as women’s professional golfer Michelle Wie and U.S. President Barrack Obama.
“It takes two to make a thing go right … it takes two to make it outta sight,” or so the Rob Bass club classic goes.

Moore was in a state of joy and shock upon receiving a Honda jet ski as a graduation gift at the under-ager rager that looked more like a club in Ibiza. This past winter she recently tow-surfed 12-to 15-foot Phantoms on the North Shore with Progressive Surfing Coach Myles Padaca. Therefore, the grad gift will be put to good use this upcoming North Shore season.
Forget about My Super Sweet 16 because this event blew doors on the MTV reality TV show. Drive Thru founder Greg Browning documented the festivities for a big, future project with Moore. Nocturnal Sound Krew DJs kept the high school graduates bumping and grinding. While graffiti artist Jared Johnston, break dancers, photo booth and Wahoos Tacos kept guests entertained and satisfied. The following images only convey a fraction of the amount of crazy, good times that were had by all in attendance. Congratulations, Carissa!
